Advantages of Electric Tart Burners
Wax tarts are usually melted using a tart burner with a tea light inside, just like a burner for scented oils. These burners work well but they require the use of an open flame and melt the tart into a hot pool of wax – not ideal for busy homes with pets or inquisitive young children. Electric tart burners on the other hand are flameless and self-contained, giving you real peace of mind.

Yes I agree wax melts are so nice without the flame and tend to give off more fragrance.
